Image Guidelines

We want your portrait to look just like your pet in real life. The better the photo, the better the result. Here’s how to choose the perfect one.

What we need

  • Face clearly visible (eyes, nose, mouth, whiskers, ears in frame)
  • Sharp & in focus (no motion blur or pixelation)
  • Good lighting (natural daylight)
  • True colors (no heavy filters or color edits

Tip: Smartphone photos are perfect just make sure they’re the original file.

Front or ¾ angle facing the camera

Take the photo close enough to see fur texture and eye detail.

No heavy filters or beauty/smoothing effects

No screenshots or zoomed-in crops that look grainy

No dark, backlit photos or strong shadows across the face

No pictures taken from the side

What if my best photo isn’t perfect?

Send it anyway. We’ll review it and let you know if we need a different angle or a clearer shot. Our goal is to keep your pet’s exact facial features that’s our priority.
